Landscape Drainage and French Drains

Having been in the Portland area for so many years, we know full well how much rainwater we see during the many rainy months of the year. Oftentimes, if a neighbor's property is higher than yours, you might be experiencing subsurface drainage problems. Excess water that is not drained properly can cause headaches because excess moisture on a property can cause foundation problems, erosion, mold, algae, and even fungus.

We often install French drains (perforated plastic pipe buried underneath river rock) under our dry creek beds and behind our retaining wall installations as a way to stabilize them; we will also oftentimes install a drain underneath lawns if the conditions require it. If excess rain water is a problem, oftentimes we will include other solutions such as grated catch basins, piping with a pop-up drain or curb cut core to allow for faster water drainage.

Natural Landscape and Irrigation is located in Lake Oswego, Oregon and specializes in drainage system installations in the Greater Portland Metropolitan Area including Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin, West Linn and surrounding areas. Please feel free to contact us for more details.
